Today, alerts and system status
Today shows what needs you: the setup checklist until it’s done, today’s numbers (orders, money owed, paused orders), the queues waiting for review (applications, purchase orders, disputes) and the most important notice. After a reinstall it may show Tidy up after your last uninstall when settings Termpact made in Shopify were left behind; the one-click fix puts them right.
Alerts
Section titled “Alerts”Alerts lists every notice: a connection that needs signing in again, a scheduled price change that failed, a safety check that acted. Notices close by themselves when the problem is fixed. You can dismiss a notice, except critical ones, which stay until they’re resolved.
System status
Section titled “System status”System status answers “is Termpact working on my store?”. Termpact checks every hour, and checkout never waits for these checks.
- Functions: whether contract pricing and order rules are live at checkout.
- Money: the nightly check of Termpact’s balances against Shopify, and any corrections it made.
- Storefront: whether the theme embed is on and prices match.
- Safety checks: Termpact watches for things that should never happen (contract prices on an order without a company, lines sold below a minimum margin, reminders for paid invoices), acts by itself, for example by turning contract pricing off after repeated problems, and tells you.
Emergency switches
Section titled “Emergency switches”Owners and admins can turn off Contract pricing at checkout or Order rules at checkout. Checkout returns to Shopify’s normal behaviour within a minute; your settings are kept, and turning it back on restores them.
The Termpact jobs switches stop background work (reading purchase orders, payment reminders) without affecting checkout. Nothing already done is undone, and Termpact catches up when you turn a job back on.
