Contract pricing discount

Termpact applies contract prices with one automatic app discount called “Termpact contract pricing”. Termpact creates it when you install the app.

How it works

• The discount runs inside Shopify’s checkout (a Shopify Function). It reads your price lists from your store’s data, not from Termpact’s servers, so checkout keeps working even if Termpact is unavailable.
• It only lowers prices on products, for buyers whose company location has a price list. Shipping discounts can still combine with it; other product or order discounts don’t stack on top of contract prices.
• Until you set up price lists, it is installed but does nothing.

If the Today page says it isn’t active

1. In Shopify admin, open Discounts.
2. Find Termpact contract pricing and make sure its status is Active.
3. Back in Termpact, choose Check again on that step.

Don’t delete the discount. If it was deleted, System status says so; reinstalling the app creates it again.

Emergency switch

The owner or an admin can turn contract pricing off on the System status page. Buyers then see your regular prices at checkout within a minute. Your price lists are kept.
