Fixed prices
Open a price list and choose Fixed prices. A fixed price for a variant beats every % rule in the group.
Edit prices
Section titled “Edit prices”The grid shows each variant with fixed prices: its retail price and cost in your store currency, the margin of its fixed price, a column per currency and how full the variant’s price field is.
- Enter a price per currency and choose Save. Leave a currency empty to use the group’s % rules there.
- Add a variant to give one a fixed price for the first time.
- Remove clears all of a variant’s fixed prices in this group.
A fixed price in your store currency can’t be above the variant’s regular price. Prices in other currencies are compared with an estimate from reference exchange rates, and you get a warning if they look higher; checkout never charges more than the regular price either way.
Fixed prices follow your store’s tax setting: where your prices include tax, these do too.
Import a CSV file
Section titled “Import a CSV file”Choose Import CSV. The file needs a header row with these columns:
| Column | |
|---|---|
sku or variant_id |
Which variant. Use variant_id when two variants share a SKU. |
price |
The price, with a dot for decimals: 14.50. Leave it empty to remove that currency’s fixed price. |
currency |
Optional. Your store currency when it’s missing or empty. |
Commas, semicolons and tabs all work as separators.
- Choose the file and Check file. Nothing changes yet: Termpact lists the new prices, changed prices, removals and any rows it can’t import, with their line numbers.
- Tick Remove fixed prices that aren’t in the file to make the group’s fixed prices exactly the file.
- Choose Apply changes. Everything is applied at once, and prices reach checkout within a minute.
If someone changes prices between your check and Apply changes, Termpact asks you to check the file again, so what’s applied is always what you saw.
Export
Section titled “Export”Export CSV downloads the group’s fixed prices with variant_id, sku, title, currency and price columns. You can edit it and import it again.
Capacity
Section titled “Capacity”Shopify limits the size of the field that carries each variant’s contract prices. The Capacity column turns amber at 70% and red at 90%. If a variant is nearly full, use a collection % rule instead of many fixed prices, or give it fixed prices in fewer price lists.
