Shopify POS

Termpact’s contract prices apply when a company buyer checks out online, through a headless storefront, or on a draft order. They don’t apply in Shopify POS. Shopify’s own B2B catalog prices don’t apply in POS either, so this is a Shopify limitation, not a setting.

Selling to a trade account in person

Use a draft order instead of the POS checkout:

1. In Shopify admin, create a draft order and choose the company and location.
2. Add the products.
3. Choose More actions → Apply contract prices (or Apply contract prices in the Termpact block on the draft). Termpact sets each line to the company’s contract price. See Draft orders.
4. Collect payment, or send the invoice, from the draft.

POS orders in Termpact

POS orders from a company keep the price POS charged. Termpact records them in the net-price report at that price and never flags them as being above the contract price, because no contract price was expected there.
