Quantity breaks
Open a price list and choose Quantity breaks. A break gives a lower price per unit from a minimum quantity, for example 28.00 from 12 pieces and 27.00 from 48.
Add breaks
Section titled “Add breaks”- Under Add quantity breaks, find a variant by product name, variant name or SKU.
- Choose Only this variant, or Every variant of this product to give all its variants the same breaks.
- Enter up to 10 breaks: a minimum quantity and a price per currency. Leave a currency empty if the break shouldn’t apply in it.
- Choose Save breaks.
How quantities count
Section titled “How quantities count”- Count each variant separately — 12 red reach a 12-piece break; 6 red and 6 blue don’t.
- Count all variants of the product together — 6 red and 6 blue of the product reach a 12-piece break.
Which price applies
Section titled “Which price applies”At checkout the buyer pays the lower of the break price and the price the group gives the item otherwise (fixed price, % rule or base % off). So a break never makes an item more expensive, and a generous % rule can already be lower than a break.
Choose Preview prices on a break to see what a buyer in this group pays per unit at quantity 1 and at each break, and why. The preview uses the same calculation as checkout, in your store currency, without company-only prices.
Break prices follow your store’s tax setting, like fixed prices, and can’t be above the variant’s regular price in your store currency.
